The Trail Boumerdès 2025 returns this year with a demanding 17 km course through the picturesque landscapes of El Arbaâtache. Under the slogan "Sport and discovery", this race is the perfect opportunity to test your endurance while exploring the mountains of Boumerdès.

  • 12:00 p.m .: Presentation of medals and prizes to the winners.

The top three men and women will receive a reward, with a possible increase in the value of the prizes.

Fennec Showdown offers several categories to allow everyone to find their place:

• Men's Duo : RX, Intermediate

Participants will compete in five intense events, testing their endurance, strength and coordination.

This event will also mark the official inauguration of The WODLAND, a specially designed cross-fit gym, providing an ideal setting for high-level performance.

The Fennec Battle Series returns with a new edition that will test strength, endurance, strategy and teamwork. This one-day functional fitness competition is the perfect opportunity to push your limits and demonstrate your abilities alongside your team.

How to participate

Registration is done exclusively through selected boxes/gyms or clubs that will receive an invitation. If your structure is chosen, your coach will be in charge of forming a team of 6 players :

• 1 coach
• 4 main players
• 2 substitutes

Each team must choose a memorable name and will be one of 20 participating teams .

If, at the end of the registration period, some teams are not complete, a mixed team under the name of "Renegades" may be formed.

• Open Team (Beginner and Intermediate)

Requirements and Selection

• Each coach can select athletes of all levels, from beginners to elite.
• Players do not have to belong to the same box/gym/club, as each team represents a flag and not a specific structure.
• Coaches must submit a full list of selected athletes as well as the team name via a Google form.

Prepare for an intense confrontation where only the most strategic and resilient can prevail.

The Backyard Ultra Algeria is a unique ultra-marathon race, organized by the Gaya Athletic Club, which will be held at the Promenade des Sablettes, Algiers, on October 19, 2024. This event, which brings together 15 Algerian athletes among 63 participating countries, aims to promote this still little-known discipline and to establish international connections in real time.

A unique concept

The Backyard Ultra is based on a demanding and strategic format:

• A 6.7 km loop to be covered every hour
• No time limit : as long as a runner completes a loop within the time limit, they can continue
• The last athlete in the race wins the event

Rules of Participation

• Formats : Individual or team participation
• Time limit : Each loop must be completed in a maximum of one hour
• Elimination : Runners who do not finish in time are eliminated
• Victory : The last rider still on the track is declared the winner
