Chest Press

Description :
The barbell chest press is a strength training exercise that primarily targets the pectoral muscles. To perform this exercise, lie on a bench with your feet planted on the floor for stability, and hold a barbell above your chest with a grip slightly wider than shoulder-width. Then, lower the barbell toward your chest by bending your elbows, and push the barbell back up by extending your arms until they are almost straight, while contracting the chest muscles. This exercise can also engage the shoulder and triceps muscles as synergists.
