Ingredients

  • 150 g of oatmeal flour
  • 90 g of oat flakes
  • ½ teaspoon (tsp) of baking powder
  • ½ tsp of baking soda
  • 3 mashed medium-sized bananas
  • ½ tsp of cinnamon
  • ½ cup of honey ou ⅓ cup of brown sugar
  • ½ cup of melted vegetable butter or coconut oil
  • ½ cup of natural yogurt
  • 2 medium eggs
  • 1 tsp of vanilla
  • 15 g of crushed nuts

Preparation steps

  • 1. Preheat oven to 180°C. Flour and butter the bread pan
  • 2. In a bowl, mix all the dry ingredients together (oatmeal flour, oatmeal, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon)
  • 3.In another bowl, put the mashed bananas, add honey, butter, natural yogurt and vanilla, and mix everything with a whisk
  • 4.Add the mixture to the dry ingredients and stir with a spoon until well combined. Gently fold in the crushed nuts
  • 5. Bake for up to 50 minutes ( you can stick a toothpick in your bread, if it comes out clean then it is baked)
  • 6. Before you unmold, let it cool on a rack
