Ingredients
- 160 g of chickpeas soaked the day before
- 1 large onion
- 4 large tomatoes without the skin
- 1 tbsp of canned tomato
- 200 g of meat cut into small pieces
- 2 full tbsp of lentils
- 4-5 stalks of celery
- 2 tbsp of chopped parsley
- 2 full tbsp of chopped fresh cilantro
- olive oil
- spices: 1 tsp powdered ginger, 1 full tsp paprika, 1 tsp turmeric, salt and pepper
- 1 tsp vegetable margarine
- 50 g angel hair vermicelli or round rice
- 2 liters of water
- 1/2 lemon (optional)
- 2 to 3 full tablespoons of oats
Preparation steps
- 1. Peel the tomatoes, the onion and chop them into large pieces. Do the same for the celery and parsley
- 2. In a blender, pour a large glass of water and add onion, tomatoes, parsley, and celery, blend everything, then add a spoon of canned tomatoes and continue mixing
- 3. Pour everything into a large pot, add the pieces of meat, the lentils, the chickpeas, the olive oil, the butter, and the spices and salt
- 4. Add water, cover and simmer until meat and chickpeas are cooked. Enjoy!
